Services Highlights:
Concept stage design with architects to meet planning and client requirements
A natural ventilation system was devised in conjunction which would provide the occupants with a system of fully automated opening windows positioned so as toavoid possible interference from children, but also featured manual override (open/close) facilities for the teacher if so required.
The system was designed to be controlled by a Building Energy Management System (BEMS) with CO2 and time scheduling and out of occupancy purging provisions.
In order to minimise potential overheating from external sources, glazing was enhanced to reduce heat gains to the main occupied areas of the building and ASHP providing cooling are introduced to the development.
